Learn More About Quincy Attorney Katherine Daniels

I have been a lawyer since 1992. Before to moving to Quincy, I worked for the Wisconsin State Public Defender for nearly 16 years. In this position, I gained substantial litigation and trial experience protecting my client's legal and constitutional rights and speaking for people who often didn't have a voice in the system. I represented adults and juveniles in a wide variety of cases including felony and misdemeanor, criminal charges, juvenile delinquency cases, Termination of Parental Rights, Administrate Probation Revocation Hearings, criminal accusations. This experience is beneficial to my clients today, as I am always prepared to make compelling arguments in the courtroom when necessary.

I founded the Schnell Daniels Law Office with the goal of providing access to the legal system to a wide variety of clients. Since 2010, I have devoted my practice to family law and estate planning. These areas of law, perhaps more than other areas of law, are extremely personal. In order to help my clients achieve their goals, I strive to build strong attorney-client relationships. By doing so, I can guide you toward solutions that are tailored to your needs.

I am a member of many legal organizations, such as the Family Law Section, Elder Law Section and the Trusts Estates Section of the Illinois State Bar Association. I am also a member of the Adams County Bar Association. Membership in these organizations reflects my dedication to the legal profession and to my clients.
